Well because the weather did not cooperate very well with us this year, we left for Hendricks on Wednesday and stayed there until Saturday morning while the storm blew over. We where able to make it to Ivanhoe a couple of times in those days so it was nice to at least be able to have 3 our of the 6 family get togethers that we where suspost to have. I took lots of pictures this year because what else is there to do when you are snowed in! I will post some of my favorites. Thanks to all friends and family that we where able to see!
Today marks the end of my maternity leave and it saddens me to even say it! Don't get me wrong I am excited to go back to work but to bring both boys to daycare each day and not be with them every minute is going to be hard! We will make the most of today, you can count on that!!

Some of my readers are probably mad that I have not had anything on my blog for a long time. But watch out I am back and in full force until the baby is born...33 days to go! Work has been insane the past two weeks and with Trevor's party last Saturday every spare minute was spent getting things ready for that.
So since I am behind we are going to go back to last Saturday which was my grandma Donahue's 80th birthday party. Most of you know that my mom has a huge family and last Saturday was the first time in I am not sure how long that everyone was together except one sibling. My uncle from California was home along with my aunt from Spearfish. Here is a picture of the whole gang with my grandma.
Can you imagine living in a house with all those kids?? Plus there is one not pictured and 2 have pasted away, what a large family. It was nice to have everyone together again but man was it crazy with all the families and there families but good for my grandma to have everyone together.
This past 3 day weekend we went to the lake to celebrate Memorial Weekend. Talk about some nice weather, man I can not remember the last Memorial Day Weekend where it was nice weather all weekend long. Monday was windy but still the temperature was very nice. When we got up there Friday Jon and Trevor mowed the lawns and then Jon took Trevor fishing with leeches for the first time and he loved them. He would reach in the bag and grab a hand full---YUCK! Overall it was a good weekend!!
Our Easter weekend was very nice! We really did not go anywhere and we spent all of Saturday doing some landscaping since it was so nice out along with taking Trevor to the Easter egg hunt on Saturday morning. Sunday we went to my aunt's house in Sioux Falls to spend time with my family. It was nice to see everyone again, it has been a long time! They kept Jon and I on our toes by playing cards-neither one of us lost money we come home even.....which is very good! Then Sunday evening we went to the circus in Brookings with Jon's mom and dad and that was also fun but made for a long Sunday.
