Figuring things out

Well as of last night I had read the first 70 pages of the manuel for my new camera so it was time to play with the lens. I went around the house and took some pictures using the lens, zoom and more. The thing I love about it is that the closer you get to an object the more it blurs out the background so you can focus on what you are taking a picture of. Here are some of the photos that I took.

Mydland stood still for about 1 picture so then I moved to my landscaping.

Okay enough of that I do not want to make any fall asleep. I hope everyone has a great 4th of July and I will of course have tons of pictures on Monday!!

Cool pics!

Your camera takes great pictures. The reason you can get a clear picture of a close-up feature and the background is blurry (or vice versa if you wanted) is not specific to the camera. It's possible because you have manual focus on your lens.

Most point-and-shoots don't allow you to focus manually and if you got up close like that the focus would go wild because it wouldn't know what to zero in on.

Anyway, just thought you might like to know!

Thanks for visiting Healy Happenings and come back soon!
